This was dull.

The repetitive BGM, simplistic characters, and meaningless violence make this a dull flash to observe. The blue eyed fellow had a few somewhat decent animations done, but over all it was not fun to look at. The final scene was significantly better done than the rest.

punkromance responds:

Okay... if you don't like that background music then next time we'll add something better. Anyway, it shouldn't really matter how "simplistic" characters are... If you want to complain about that, go and watch some stick figure animations. And meaningless violence? It wasn't exactly like that... It had a theme, andwe used it, so yeah.

Also, "blue eyed fellow"? What?

It takes a masterful skill...

...to present an ensnaring narrative with so basic a medium.

Graphics- The pixelated images were appropriately formed and smoothly animated. Did you draw the images in MSpaint or somesuch programa nd import them?

Style- I think this flash works much better with the blocky, simplistic shapes than it would have with more drawn out characters, even if they were well drawn.

Sound- The voice is very well done. It is well articulated, and sounds pleasant. You being female, i suppose you had a friend help you with this?

Violence- Playful and well treated.

Interactivity- Play button, and enthralling story.

Humour-Oh dear... i won't be an idiot and quote every phrase that made me laugh; suffice to say, this is by far the most hilarious and logical flash i have seen all year.

Amazing job. Also, regarding the ninja theory, i think that is also how the fictional "Force" of the star wars fiction works. It is evenly split twixt sith and jedi. Then those halves are evenly divided among their sides. The jedi's powers were weakening because there were hundreds sharing the same "force stock" while the sith, being only two, each had a fourth of all force power in the universe.

Sorry for rambling, excellent work.

Emptygoddess responds:

I drew everything in blood, shaped each of the blood drops into small blocks, put the blocks into my computer, and then imported them into flash.

I think i understand what you are trying to do.

But it doesn't seem well actualized. It would be cool if you could improve it.

petemoores responds:

Any ideas on how i could improve it? I'm going to use it in my portfolio so I want it to look as good as possible. I've seen it so much I don't think I could be objective on it any more.

One of the best flash i have seen in a while.

I am a believer, and i have atheist friends. Becoming a christian does not magically make you awesomer or more good than the rest of humanity. In fact, a lot of "christians" i know are fairly disgusting people. The basis of the faith is we should acknowledge our screw-ups and model our lives after Christ who never sinned.

I liked your flash, their facial expression, the timing of everything: very well put together.

Cambo responds:

Absolutely! A big concern for me is the whole Christian idea of "do as I say, not as I do". And while I agree to an extent with what you're saying, one of the reasons I'm not Christian is because I don't think it's enough to just say "Yeah, I make mistakes, but I have faith in God and I believe Jesus died for my sins and I love him for that" and that somehow grants you access into eternal bliss. On that logic Fred Phelps is going to Heaven and the Dalai Lama is going to Hell. It's dumb.

Still, I'm glad that a few Christians are still seeing this flash and not just blamming the crap out of it. The way I see it, I'm not having a go at Christians or in general. I'm having a go at Christians who have a go at non-Christians. So thanks for being cool enough to see that.

Very well drawn and animated.

The action and feel of the flash went very well with your choice of music. It's a nice short flash that can be enjoyed without really knowing why everything is happening. Good work!

hamesu responds:

i'm honored with such a nice opinion that you have about my animation work , i can asure you that this will not be the only enjoyable animation that i put on this great portal called newgrounds.com-

Terrible.

The only redeeming factor is Mad World by Gery Jules, but even that does not make up for your lame drawery and animation. It would have been way awesomer if only you had made him lipsynch the words.

pauly2smally responds:

i would have done much more, but wiht the time i was given it was pretty amazing wt i got done

waaah

where are the teenage mutant ninja... things?

anyway good stuff keep it up.

TheStarSyndicate responds:

will do :)

hm...

...the best part of the whole thing was that line while it loaded about jealousy... i guess it had good animations and sutff but all the impossible crap about robots having human emotions is really annoying to anyone that seriously knows about about robotiks.

i liked it tho.

AloneInTheDark responds:

Yes true. But what if it wasnt about a robot and it was just a metaphor of a lonely, different person?

cool.

but mega man X and rock man were seperate creations. so but thatwas still a nice idea the flashback thing. where did you get the pics on the loading screen from? cool music too.

Kaosboy85 responds:

Thanks, glad you liked it. Don't wory the rockman megaman x thing will be explained later... one of the many twists I have in my series. The background I got from a site called the background exchange. It should be in the credits, if it isn't check the credits for v.1 and it will be there.

hmmm..... it's ok

yeah the message was nice and all, but why was Jesus black? a lot of people are saying he was but how could a White jew give birth to a black one? yes he spent some of his childhood in egypt but not all of it. ah well, his skin color doesn't matter anyway.maybe you could have made it so that you click a button and it skipd to the next commandment, it would go faster for faster readers. and i think you misinterpreted the 10th commandment. you said ''thou shalt not kill'' exodus 20:13 says ''thou shalt not murder''. there is a difference between the two, murder is unjustified killing, like walking down the street and stabbing somone for no reason, but like if some one comes up to you and tries to kill you, you'd be justified in killing them, make sense?

Cajunspirit responds:

Well I just took it straight from the bible friend. God Bless!
